The problem starts on the floor

Every order brings a different combination of geometry, quantity, material and deadline. Delivering it takes more than starting a printer: it requires understanding the brief, estimating resources, preparing files and coordinating delivery.

My contribution

I lead technical development and production. I built tools for quoting, organising information and automating parts of the commercial process. The goal is to connect software decisions with what the operation can actually deliver.

What is running

Indigo manufactures parts and merchandise for agencies and businesses. The operation uses an in-house quoting tool and commercial management and communication tools. Development is ongoing: we automate in stages and retain human oversight where judgement matters.

What I learned

Automation becomes useful when it understands the process it is improving. Capacity, materials, preparation and finishing matter as much as code.
