Luciano Leguiza
Engineering, business and technology.

Learning by doing.

I like working on problems that cross disciplines. A customer conversation can lead to a cost model. A production challenge can become a software tool. A machine can be the starting point for understanding which data is missing.

At Indigo, I work with the practical decisions of a business that makes physical objects. That experience informs my work in automation, data acquisition and artificial intelligence, and what I bring to the classroom.

I prefer to measure before changing things, write down decisions and build processes that other people can understand and continue. I care about solutions that are useful, repeatable and economically sensible.

Create. Standardise. Optimise. Automate.

Beyond work

I enjoy cooking, running and travelling. I played rugby for many years and like conversations that help me see a problem differently. I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese.
